A graduate of The Art Institute of Atlanta with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, Melissa Banko first founded Banko Design, an interior design studio based near Atlanta, GA, in 2014 with 10+ years of experience in the industry. Thinking creatively, Melissa had the vision to expand into FF&E procurement and founded Red Pen Procurement.

In 2020, Melissa founded BD Studio Collection with the mission to empower creatives within the interior design industry with the business and leadership knowledge and resources they need to be successful, as well as provide elevated, turnkey interior design services across the nation.
